should be 6 stars Who ever came up with this idea was brilliant. Think of how many screen names we end up with due to all the web sites. This is a perfect way to remember your passwords. Remember that place you visited two years ago, well, you will have that imformation at hand. They also have a pspack to write comments to trigger your memory.
Lightweight Fluff This is a specialized product for older cats & their urinary tract health. I had bought a bag to try out on my two 6 year old cats as it was a good buy and wanted to see if it was something they would like. I did not follow any special instructions on introducing this into their boxes, I just filled up one of their sand boxes. After a week of no use, I bagged it back up and gave it away. Maybe I could have used it to add to the other litter I had, but didn't want to take the chance of the cats not wanting to use it again.
If you do have an older cat with urinary health on the agenda, I would try a bag. This is nothing like any clay type material, it is lightweight fluff. My cats are use to the more clay like Dr. Elsey cat litters.
I'm happy with the cat box. It's big enough for my very large cat and the two kittens play on it and it never gives. I would buy another box from this company, they know how to build a strong cat box.
Nice Table/Book Shelf Overall I am happy with this item. It works well as a bookshelf/sofa table. It was packed well and was not too hard to put together. It was a bit of a challenge to screw the top on because there were no pre-drilled holes and you had to make sure that the top was centered. Shipping was fast. It comes in a few other colors such as black. The shelf height is not adjustable.
Very flexible nutritional scale This nutritional scale is a very easy way to measure carbohydrates (for diabetics) and other nutrition information from a wide variety of foods. The scale "zeros" out a plate (or other food), then you weigh the food, enter a code associated with that food, select the nutritional information desired, and read off the results. The booklet is very sturdy and wipes clean. Foods are sorted alphabetically, which makes them very easy to find. The booklet includes 999 foods, including both individual ingredients (e.g., milk, raw apple, white bread) and prepared foods (e.g., blueberry muffins, french fries, pizza). This is very useful when eating at a restaurant, eating prepared foods with no nutritional lables, and when you're in a hurry. Most foods we wanted were either listed or a similar food was listed. I compared the scale's estimates with those from a booklet and package nutrition, and found these estimates quite accurate. The scale is very easy to carry with you in a bag: about 2" tall and 9" diameter.
We bought this scale about a year and three months ago. It worked very well for about a year. Then, the nutrition and weight readings started degrading. These values are now very inaccurate, to the point of being useless. Low bateries does the same thing, and is not obvious (i.e., the display does not indicate low batteries). Mind you, we used this scale every day, and took it with us to numerous locations, and probably dropped it; so our scale got heavy use for one year before breaking.
The competing digital nutrition scale I've examined list only raw ingredients for their 999 codes, which is only useful when cooking from scratch at home. While I wish my Escali scale lasted longer, I was satisfied enough with its performance to buy a replacement.
